Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pinterest.
Creative Strategist
The interview process included an initial recruiter screening call, followed by a video meeting with the hiring manager. After that, I had one-on-one interviews with four members of the team. The process concluded with a presentation. Overall, it was a really good experience; everyone I met was great, and the recruiter kept in touch really well throughout.
- Can you share an instance where you had to manage stakeholder expectations amidst a high volume of requests?
Digital Marketing Manager
The hiring team made this a really long and drawn-out experience. There were no regular updates or a clear path as to who or how many interviews to expect. You can expect close to 2-weeks between interviews. No interview feedback was given. The people were nice, but ultimately I felt quite turned off working here.
- Can you tell us why you are interested in Pinterest?
- What are your reasons for seeking a new opportunity?
- Could you present some of your past work to us?
Marketing Lead
The interview had 7 stages, where I met with 7 different team members. This included a 'loop' stage where I had back-to-back interviews with the team. I didn't get any feedback after the final interview until I followed up.
- Can you tell me about your greatest strength?
- What is your biggest weakness?
