Had a good experience with the recruiter who asked vetting questions for 30 mins to check alignment. Then had a 30 min interview with the hiring manager, but they seemed disinterested about 10 mins in. Got an immediate rejection, which is good for quick notification, but the interviewing professionalism was lacking. The role was open for a long time, which is unusual right now.

Run. Away. Don't waste your time. After investing more than 10 hours (prep, interviews, sample work, etc.) the recruiter ghosted. It's ok to not get a job, it's not ok to ghost the candidate. It's basic respect, especially when Pinterest is recruiting you (they reached out).

It was a pretty long process with 5 interview rounds. I spoke with different functional leads, and recruitment and HR. It was behavioural based, focusing on Pinterest values and culture, and leadership. Each interviewer had a focus area which was explained beforehand. The final call was with the recruitment manager.
