Started with a recruiter screen. Then had to do a big case study with SQL. After that, there were supposed to be 3 more interviews with different people in finance.

This was the most gaslight interview experience, I would avoid this company. It started with a recruiter phone screen, then a 30 min interview with the hiring manager. After that, I had a case study that took hours to complete and had to be submitted within 72 hours. I passed all of those stages and then had 3 more 45-minute interviews, which I thought went well. The recruiter then told me they were making a decision. A week later, I got an automated rejection email. While I understand I didn't get the job, the unprofessionalism of the recruiting process at the end was surprising, especially the automated rejection email instead of a personalized one. It felt very cold. It was a complete waste of time.

I had my interview last week with the recruiter at Pinterest. She was nice and we went straight to the interview and she asked me a few questions about my background. I moved to the next round and talked to the hiring manager. This interview was a letdown from the start. After I told her about my background, she asked me a question about something I had already said. This showed she wasn't paying attention. On top of that, she yawned throughout the interview. I felt my time was disrespected and wanted to end the conversation quickly. I contacted Recruitment and let them know this position was not a fit. The job posting sounds great, but working for someone disrespectful and uncaring would be difficult.
