The interview process was a bit of a mess and took way too long. First, there was a screening, then a chat with the hiring manager. After that, I had several interviews with people from different teams, which they could have combined into one panel interview. The last part was a case study. It felt like they weren't sure what they were looking for, and they didn't really check for the important skills early on, making me go through everything just to be told I wasn't a fit because of skills they should have assessed sooner.

I spoke with the hiring manager for my interview. It felt like it was moving too fast and he was being difficult. He didn't seem interested in my past experience or skills that could transfer. He asked me questions about Pinterest advertising, expecting me to have deep knowledge like someone with 5 years of experience, even though the role is entry-level. It feels unreasonable to expect candidates to know everything about the platform for an interview. They should focus on my digital advertising knowledge, market understanding, and transferable skills like managing stakeholders, relationships, and sales. Training on Pinterest's solutions would happen after hiring. It seems like it really comes down to whether you connect with the interviewer. I hope the rest of the company isn't like this.

After that, there was a 60-minute Case Study where I had to prepare and deliver a presentation based on provided data, including data interpretation and client recommendations.
