It was a pretty standard interview. They asked about my ideal work setting and what drinks I'm familiar with making. Honestly, it wasn't a tough interview at all.

The interview was pretty straightforward and fast. They asked me about my past work related to the job. I was asked about my service experience and how many years I've been doing it. They also told me about the different jobs they had open and what they involved. After they made an offer, we chatted about when I can work and what they expect from me.

I started with a phone interview with a manager at Pins Mechanical, which went well. They mentioned I'd get a personality questionnaire if I advanced. Then, I scheduled another phone interview, this time with what I think was an operations manager. Scheduling this took two weeks because the manager was busy opening a new location, even though I gave them a lot of availability. When the interview finally happened, the manager was about 10 minutes late and there was construction noise in the background, making it hard to hear. The call also went over an hour, which I wasn't prepared for. Both phone interviews involved the same questions, which made me wonder if they were really getting to know me. After the second interview, I waited three weeks for an update, following up weekly with the first contact, who had no news. Their process felt unstructured. To top it off, while waiting for an update, I saw the job reposted on LinkedIn. I figured I wasn't getting the job due to the lack of communication and long delays.

  • Can you introduce yourself?
