I had a phone screening, then a video call, and after that, I went into the office to meet with four different people. Each of them was from a department that worked with this position, and I talked to them one-on-one.

The hiring process moved very quickly, and the interviewers were very open about what to expect. The people hiring took a direct approach to evaluating candidates and made sure to be involved in and prepared for the interviews.

Applied online on the Pinnacle Promotions website. First, HR sent a questionnaire which was pretty long and asked standard entry-level questions like conflict resolution and preferred management style. It was good to have time to think through answers. Then, a 15-minute phone interview with HR followed, covering basic questions like why I want the job, company knowledge, and salary expectations. After that, another phone interview, this time with two managers for about 30 minutes, focusing on work style, detail orientation, and multitasking. The next step was an in-office interview with the same two managers, lasting 30-45 minutes, again with basic questions. Shockingly, there was a fourth round planned with a panel, skills assessment, and founders, but I didn't make it to that. Everyone was nice and it seems like a good company, but the number of rounds for an entry-level role was ridiculous. Also, the rejection email addressed 'Dear candidate' after all those steps was disrespectful.

I had three interviews. First, a phone call with my potential direct manager. Then, an in-person interview with the Department Manager and their assistant. Finally, another in-person interview with the HR director and one of the company owners. This is not how they hire anymore and usually, not many interviews are needed. However, the Art Department hasn't hired anyone in 3 years so there are no interviews for that department.
