I saw an ad on Craigslist and applied. They called me a few days later and we scheduled an interview for 3 days out. The interview was in person and only took about 10 minutes. There weren't any specific questions, she just asked about my past jobs and what was good and bad about them.

I saw an ad on Craigslist for Pinkberry and applied for a Shift Leader role. I sent my resume and explained I knew about Pinkberry because of its popularity with stars. Ten days later, I got an email with a .doc application attached. After I sent it, they called the next day to set up an interview, but I missed it. I tried calling back, but no answer. I emailed them, and they set up an interview. The interview was like an "audition" in a group of about 20 people. The managers said it would be "American Idol-esque." We were given a sample of the yogurt, information about its health benefits and history. Then, we had 15 minutes to prepare a 30-second commercial about Pinkberry and present it individually. Most commercials focused on healthiness. After that, they split us into two groups and dismissed one. I was in the dismissed group. The group they kept seemed to be younger people looking for their first job and one older lady. I was okay with not getting the job because I didn't like the yogurt, the store felt cramped, and they had already hired shift leads, offering swirler positions at $8/hour.

It was a group interview, all focused on our personality and real life situations. No pressure. Every step we were led from a GM or a SL on site. Even if it was crowded it was smooth and enjoyable.
