Customer Support Specialist
I spoke to an HR person for the initial interview. They seemed very nice and the conversation was good. Towards the end, they said someone in a room directly next to them would be in touch regarding the next interview steps. They even advised that I email them my upcoming availability so that they'd know when to schedule the next interview. Our call ended and I sent them a thank you email and my schedule. They then proceeded to completely ghost me. I sent follow up emails and even contacted this HR person on LinkedIn (which I can see that they still use because they've posted things after I've reached out to them), and I've still gone ignored. Completely unprofessional behavior.
- Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
HR Manager
I had an initial chat with the recruiter where we went over the role and next steps. I was told there would be three rounds: recruiter, Global HR, and CEO. Then I had a call with Global HR. This interview felt off because it was late for me and they didn't even acknowledge it. The interviewer was very direct and seemed distracted, looking at her phone and asking questions I'd already answered. She also spoke negatively about the previous person in the role, which seemed like a red flag. I was surprised to get through, and then they added another person to speak to, the US head of OPs, which wasn't part of the original three rounds. After looking into the company more, I realized there were ethical issues and decided to withdraw my application.
- Can you tell me about your performance management experience?
- What's your reason for changing jobs frequently?
Responsible Officer
Scheduling was easy since everything was on Zoom. The entire process took about 5-6 weeks and included around 7 rounds of interviews, from the hiring manager up to the CEO.
- Can you describe your experience?
- In what ways can you contribute to our organization?
Compliance Analyst
So I had this interview with the hiring manager first. It was like basic behavior questions, and we talked about salary expectations and my availability. She said she'd update me in two days, but then I heard nothing. Two weeks later, HR scheduled another interview. I told them I'd already interviewed with the manager and was still waiting for feedback. They ended up canceling the interview and informed me they couldn't proceed because they don't offer sponsorship. It was super disorganized. If you need sponsorship, honestly, just save yourself the trouble.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe a challenge you faced.
- What's your reason for leaving your job?
