The process was really disorganized. First, HR sent me a rejection email, then an email saying it was a mistake, then another email with an interview request for the wrong job, and finally, an interview request for the correct job. The HR person was late to my initial phone screen, was driving, and had her mute on most of the time. I felt rushed and she seemed impersonal and tuned out. I asked for an update a few times and got a response two weeks later saying they were still interviewing. Ten weeks later, I received a generic rejection email. I won't work for companies with cowardly hiring processes, so I feel lucky to have dodged a bullet.

The interview process was pretty standard, and I was impressed by how responsive everyone was. Things moved really quickly between stages, which was great. I first spoke with HR, then had individual interviews with two PMs. They ended up asking pretty much the same things.

The initial chat with HR was a positive experience. I felt really good about the job and the company after that. However, the second GIS interview was a major letdown. Not only were they a few minutes late, but they also muted themselves twice and looked away to deal with something off-camera, clearly not paying attention to me. I had to pause and restart multiple times, losing my train of thought both times. I found it very unprofessional and disappointing. People put a lot of effort into applying and preparing for interviews, and they deserve the interviewer's full attention. They even mentioned they had decided to change the job duties, which caught me by surprise.

It started with an email exchange, and then I had a video call with two managers. They talked about my background, gave details about the company, and then asked me common interview questions, asking for examples from my past projects and experiences.
