First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pine Belt Mental Health Resources.
PSR Specialist
The process was super professional and put me right at ease. I ended up interviewing in this big boardroom with two supervisors. I waited outside for maybe 15 minutes before they called me back.
- Can you tell me about your weaknesses?
Registered Nurse
Applied and got a call saying my application was being considered. Then an appointment was set up for several weeks later. There was one interview, and after that I just waited for a call. I didn't find out about the pay until the very end.
- Are you willing to work overtime?
Mental Health Clinician
I did an internship with PBMHR and my supervisor there referred me for another job with the company. I had 3 interviews with different supervisors and they gave me 5 job offers. PBMHR really pushed me to accept one of the offers within 24 hours, or I'd lose them all because they knew I was looking at other places. I asked for more time, but they wouldn't budge. I ended up declining all 5 offers to wait 3 weeks. A supervisor contacted me later and I got an offer right away, 4 weeks after the first one. The HR person handling my application resigned.
- Have you ever been cursed at by a client?
Community Service Specialist
There were two interviewers, and they were both very open and friendly. The interviewers were really nice and easy to converse with. They actually appeared interested in my answers to their questions and getting a glimpse of my personality.
