So first, there's this hirevue thing, you only get one shot to record it. After that, it's a Superday, like, all back to back with a bunch of people, and they'll ask you technical stuff and behavioral questions during the SPD.
- What are the risks associated with bonds?
- Can you give me a stock pitch?
- Could you explain Bond Duration?
Product Analyst
The interview process was a mix of technical and behavioral questions. The first round was a recorded HireVue interview. The next round was a 3-hour Super-day where I met with about 9 different managers. The questions covered macro-economic topics and behavioral anecdotes. They want to assess your basic market understanding and your thought process. I suggest showing you're analytical and genuinely interested in the company and the economy.
- What would be the impact on the real estate industry if the Federal Reserve started trying to combat inflation?
- Can you share some of your interests?
Product Analyst
This company was not very personable. I never got a phone call or ever met anyone who worked for this company. They also did not respond to application and video submissions in a timely manner. For example, they said they would get back in around 3 weeks and it took them at least 5. From the start of my application till the rejection post interview was 4 months. I'm very glad I already accepted another offer when I received the rejection email.
- Can you describe a challenge you encountered and your approach to resolving it?
