Marketing Intern
The conversation felt very scripted, like the interviewer was just reading questions. Their answers to my responses were also very generic and the whole discussion felt unnatural and didn't flow.
- Tell me about a difficult situation you faced and how you handled it.
Associate Professor
We're accepting applications through newspaper ads or direct online/hard copy submissions. First, we screen applications and shortlist candidates based on job requirements. Then, there's a personal interview with the committee (first round), followed by a final interview. Finally, an HR round for salary and compensation finalization, after which we issue the offer letter.
- Could you introduce yourself and explain why you are a good fit for this position?
Finance Intern
I applied for the internship at the college business fair, then I got a phone interview about a month or two later. About two weeks after that, I had an in-person interview. They checked my references, and then the day after that, they offered me the job. I started in October 2015 and was hired by the first week of March 2016.
- What skills or knowledge gained from your academic studies can you apply to this internship?
Social Media Marketing
The interview process involved 3 different interviews and took around 4 months to complete, with a 3-month wait to hear back about the internship status. After the first interview, I advanced to the second and then the third round. If successful after the third round, there was one final interview with the head of Marketing.
- What unique contributions would you make to PIM Brands?
