Had an initial phone chat with the recruiter to check if I'd be a good fit for the team. Then interviewed with the manager to discuss my technical background and the role. Finally, had a panel interview with the team where they asked behavioral and other technical questions.

Avoid - waste of time! Was contacted via recruiter (unsolicited) about a " confidential" Director IT position - Multiple phone calls, very informal, then I was "qualified" and deemed a good fit. Then Ghosted, when I asked if there is any update they did not know? Feels like they were just fishing, collecting information and wasting a lot of time.

I applied online and got a call from a recruiter. The call went well, and they said they'd get back to me in 48 hours. I didn't hear back for a week, so I followed up three times. Eventually, after three weeks, I got a rejection email.

Behavioral Technical

I had a phone interview with a recruiter, who was a really good guy. Then I interviewed with the hiring manager; he wasn't super clear on their vision or execution plan, but it seemed to go okay. After that, I had a call with some team members. They seem to be struggling a lot due to frequent manager changes. They mentioned observability, but it seems like they're not there yet and there's a lot of work ahead. The compensation wasn't great, so I decided to withdraw. There were other red flags in another session that I won't get into.
