It was a good process, but that's mainly because the partners and associates were really nice and respectful from the start, not necessarily because they thought I was a great candidate. So, my advice is to just keep preparing and preparing and preparing.

I sent my resume and got a phone interview call really quickly, within 2 days, which was great. They then set up an in-person interview for early the next week over the phone and sent an email confirmation that same afternoon. The interview itself was about an hour long and pretty pleasant, not too tough. The interviewer mentioned that if an offer was made, follow-up interviews would be in about 3 weeks. Things got weird after that. I got home the same day and found a letter saying they couldn't offer me an interview, which was strange since I'd passed the phone screen and just had the one-on-one. The letter was dated two days before my interview, so I figured it was a mistake. I waited, and after 4 weeks, I emailed to ask about a follow-up interview since the interviewer said to reach out with questions. Still no response, even though they invited me to contact them. I'm still waiting to hear back. I was impressed at first, but they really messed up by not letting candidates know their status instead of just ignoring them.

First, I had a video call with HR that lasted about an hour. They asked a lot of behavioral questions, like how I've handled difficult situations at work and what I learned from them. If that went well, I was invited for an in-person interview at their office with 5-6 partners.

After I submitted my resume and transcript, the firm chose whether to give me a screening interview. These interviews lasted about 20 minutes and were virtual this year because of covid. Then, the second stage was a callback interview that was about 2 hours long and included 4 interviews, each lasting 30 minutes.
