First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pierce & Associates.
Foreclosure Attorney
The interview was pretty relaxed. I was expecting to meet with someone from HR, but they were out that day, so I met with someone pretty high up. He had a printed-out list of questions, and it seemed like he was going through a list of common interview questions pretty quickly. It was definitely a question-answer format rather than a conversational interview. At the end, he mentioned I'd be a good fit, which was nice rather than just waiting to hear back.

Legal Assistant
I got an interview thanks to a temp agency that thought I'd like legal work. They warned me it would be in-depth and include a test, but also said I'd feel comfortable and enjoy it. The agency said HR is good at finding the right fit based on a person's eagerness to learn, and I agree. They offered me a couple of jobs, and since I liked both, the recruiter suggested interviewing for the most demanding one. She explained that the fast-paced environment and tight deadlines can be stressful, but many people enjoy it because time flies. I was excited by this prospect because I like being busy. The test was challenging but manageable.
- Who has inspired you, and what's the reason behind it?
- What do you do in your free time to unwind?
Law Clerk
I was interviewed for a role in a department that handles calls from both clients (banks) and individuals facing foreclosure. The interview seemed okay, but I wasn't sure what they were looking for. I was later told that department wasn't a good fit, but I was invited for another interview. The process was the same. I got the job in the end. The pay was bad, and it was unprofessional, but the people were great. Some managers and staff were amazing.
- Have you had experience working with Fannie Mae?
Pleadings Clerk
Went through a short interview with HR, then an easy test. I applied for two different roles. The first was a mid-level, client-facing job where I didn't get an offer (I wasn't really qualified). The interview was pretty standard. The second interview was for a pleadings clerk position. It was super easy, they didn't ask much. They basically just checked for major red flags and if I actually wanted the job.
