First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Piedmont Healthcare.
Registered Nurse
The recruiter called to reschedule after the manager didn't show up or call. After the recruiter screening, I had a typical interview with a manager and another person who didn't talk much, making it awkward. The place claims to value diversity and inclusion, but the unit's homogeneity suggests the outcome was predetermined.
- Can you tell me about your five-year goals?
- What are your top three strengths?
Patient Care Technician
after submitting the application, the first step was a phone screening. if the hiring manager liked my profile, they would invite me for an interview. i heard back about the job offer in about a week. the interview itself was pretty straightforward and the interviewers were super friendly! they only asked me three questions, all of which were about my personality.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Lab Assistant
I got an email from the recruiter on Wednesday and replied Thursday by 4pm to schedule a phone screening. The interview was Friday at 12pm, but the recruiter called late, at 3:30pm. She asked a few brief questions about my experience and pay expectations. She said she'd send my resume to the hiring manager and I should hear back by Monday afternoon if I was selected. I got a rejection email 30 minutes later.
- What is your total years of experience?
Talent Consultant
Applied online in July 2024, and a recruiter contacted me for a phone screening within about a week. I wasn't selected for a face-to-face interview. The phone screening was more informational than an interview. I am about 100% sure the recruiter and/or Piedmont Healthcare do not want minorities in a recruiters position! My resume and skills matched this position 110%! When the recruiter called her voice changed once she heard my voice. This has happened more than once with Piedmont. I have recruited for one of the biggest hospital in the country but never have been offered a position here. The only reason is apparent! They don't want minorities in these positions. I have recruited New Grad nurses, participated in Job fairs etc. Thinking about taking legal actions.
- The phone screening was more informational! No real questions were asked.
