First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Piedmont Airlines.
Customer Service Representative
It started with a few easy questions about myself, then I had to watch a short video about the airline. After that, there were parts about dealing with customers, using ramp, working in cold weather, and handling baggage. Finally, there was a test with a little math and questions from the video.
- What qualities do you possess?
- Can you share an instance when you felt frustrated at work and explain how you managed the situation?
- Describe your approach to dealing with customers.
Customer Service Agent
It was a group interview, but only 3 people attended, including me. I'm an immigrant and was the only one in the room. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. Given my extensive background as a customer service agent in the airline sector, I felt quite confident and provided professional answers. Despite this, I was unfortunately disqualified without a clear reason. I sent an email requesting feedback but never received a response.
- Can you define what constitutes good customer service?
- How would you approach managing a challenging customer interaction?
- In a single word, how would you describe yourself?
Customer Service Agent
First, they'll chat with you about the role and lay out what they're looking for, and you'll need to be cool with their expectations before the in-person interview. Then, at the in-person, they want to hear about your customer service background and why you're keen on the job, plus they'll check if your lifestyle is flexible enough for it.
- What makes you want to work in the airline industry?
