Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview was pretty easy, just one round. The interviewer was a faculty member. He started by asking me why I wanted to be a faculty after my B.Tech, what I would do if I got another job offer, and my JEE rank. Then, he asked me to teach a topic of my choice. I chose complex geometry and taught it. He then gave me a complex geometry problem. My initial approach was wrong, but he guided me to the correct solution, and I solved it. That was the end of the interview.

So there were 3 rounds in total. First was a written test. Then in round two, I faced a panel who asked me loads of questions about writing educational news and how I'd deal with the responsibilities of a senior associate. Round three was a deep dive interview with someone pretty senior.

Behavioral

I interviewed at PW for a Cambridge English Faculty role, and it was pretty bad. I wasn't super keen on the job anyway and just went to see what it was like, but the interview was really not good. The interviewer was fluent but sounded really critical and discouraging. They were negative and kind of humiliating from the start, making it tense and unwelcoming. It was hard to connect because I felt judged more than evaluated. The interviewer also didn't have their camera on, which felt unprofessional and distant. The HR person was nice and respectful, though. It really shows they need better interviewer training on professionalism and creating a good candidate environment, especially for an educational place.
