It was a super chill vibe during the interview. The whole thing went by really fast, maybe 20 minutes max. I chatted with two folks who told me about the job and then hit me with a bunch of questions about my past roles. They also asked about my salary expectations and what made me interested in joining their team.

It started with a phone interview with another admin, which then turned into meeting the lab manager. They asked a few questions about my resume to explain my past. Generally, this interview was very laid back, though they've made it more official over the years by always including someone from Human Resources.

About two weeks after I applied, I got a call from HQ from an HR person asking me to come in right away for an interview. It was a face-to-face with someone who currently works there. I went to the office in Austin, TX, and was met by two employees. They were from South Carolina, which is where the company started.

The interview involved a few questions and a background check. The managers seemed unsure about what to ask and appeared to lack knowledge about the specific job I applied for.
