First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PhotoShelter.
Customer Success Manager
I talked to a bunch of people on the team, roughly 3 rounds total. It was pretty straightforward and everyone was super nice. They asked me a lot about my past experience and did a good job explaining what the job is about. Communication was solid the whole way through.
- Can you describe your previous job and your experience working with customers?
Customer Success Manager
It was a really drawn-out process for such a small company, took over two months. There were about four interviews total, with the last two being in person. Right at the very end, they just sent a simple message saying they were sorry but wouldn't move forward with my application. When I asked for feedback, they just ignored me. It felt pretty humiliating.
- Can you discuss your past work experience and highlight the qualities you believe align with this position?
- Could you provide specific examples of how you've managed conflicts with coworkers or resolved challenging situations at work?
Sales Development Representative
The first interview involves basic questions about your past experience. You'll then meet with multiple people to get a better feel for the team. The second interview is situational.
- What motivates you to join Photoshelter?
Software Development Engineer In Test
The interview process spanned roughly a month, unfortunately resulting in a negative experience. After submitting the coding challenge, there was a two-week wait for any feedback or even a basic response. Eventually, a generic rejection email arrived without any specific reasons, despite multiple follow-up attempts. The overall impression was one of indifference and ghosting.
- What are the standard Software QA/SDET interview questions?
