It was a wonderful experience. I went through two rounds of interviews, one a week ago and another the following week. The manager who conducted the first round was nice and explained the company's prospects well. We had a good conversation. The person who took my final round, who would decide my next step, didn't select me over the phone but offered another chance to come back for the round again. I prepared thoroughly and faced them again after a couple of days. Finally, they were convinced, and I got the offer.

Applied through a job portal, the process took two weeks. The HR got in contact and set up the interview. It consisted of just two rounds, but the entire process with the HR team was lethargic and lasted 6 hours, from 11 am to almost 5 pm. The first round was a general round where many candidates were rejected. The second round was with the Asst. Manager, in which the manager himself gave a confusing scenario where he himself was not sure of the question itself, asked a confused hypothetical situation. Was told to sign a 2-year bond with the company.

The interview process involved three face-to-face rounds. Although I was hired for the Bangalore location, the senior management is based in Chennai, which is Photon's India head office. It started with an HR round, then a face-to-face with the manager, and concluded with a sales panel interview from Chennai.
