Sales Associate Photographer
It was thorough and fair. I had 2 different group video interviews. One was for a specific location and when that first location filled up, I got a chance to do a second interview for a different location. We then did one group online training after passing, then waited about 2 weeks before starting work.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you faced at work and explain how you dealt with it?
Sales Associate/Photographer
This was a really fast interview process, it wrapped up in about a week. After I applied online, I went in for an in-person interview. They asked me about my experience with customer service. It was a pretty straightforward interview overall. They want someone who's willing to work with customers, can follow instructions, and make sure guests have a great experience. They also asked if I had a preferred location, but they decide where to place you if you get an offer.
- What's your experience with customer service?
- How do you handle customer interactions?
- How do you ensure a good guest experience?

I applied on a Saturday night and got an email the same night to schedule an interview for the following Wednesday. When I got there on Wednesday, there were four other people interviewing, all college students. The interviewer handed us a paper to write down our availability. She started the interview by giving a company background via a PowerPoint presentation. Throughout the presentation, she asked questions to the group, and we had to speak up to answer. I felt the interview went well; it covered typical retail and customer service topics. At the end, she mentioned we'd hear back within 48 hours about the job offer. Since I didn't hear back in that timeframe, I'm assuming I didn't get the position.
- Were there any questions that caught you off guard?

So, the interview was like this: first, a quick phone call, just basic stuff like when I can work and about my past jobs. Then, there was a group interview with about 6 of us. We sat in a room and talked about how we'd deal with different scenarios, what our previous jobs were like, how we work with others, and what kind of talks are most engaging. They clearly wanted to see how we'd interact with new people, since that's what the job is all about.
- Could you tell us about your availability?
- Can you describe your work experience?
- How would you approach specific situations?
