it was a fun and different interview, they asked a lot of questions to make you think on your feet. it was pretty intense at times but I think that was good, if you get nervous easily probably not for you

Had a quick Skype call first, with some normal interview questions. Then, I had a scheduled ride along. They asked me about my background, experience, schooling, and hobbies. The interviewer was really nice and went over the next steps and when training would start. Today I did a ride along for surveillance for a full 10-hour shift with an investigator. It was a good experience.

Applied in August, but didn't hear back until December, so I'd honestly forgotten about it. After the recruiter chat, I waited another month for them to put together a training class. Then, I flew out to Illinois for a few months of training. It was super intense - waking up at 4 or 5 am, long hours, basically no days off, but that's to get you ready for the actual job as an agent. You'll be doing that every day. Heads up, they don't pay you for training until the very end, so make sure you have savings or credit because you're on your own for about a month. Once you finish training, you either get flown home or drive a surveillance vehicle back with you.

It started with a Skype call with the recruiter, which was super chill and covered the basics. Then, I went to their headquarters for a two-part interview. The hiring manager was really on top of things, asking a lot of questions and explaining the job details. The other person I met was kinda robotic, no sense of humor at all. The whole experience was pretty average. They do a sales pitch thing to sell the company. Left feeling a bit off, the vibe was stale. I went ahead anyway, even after seeing some bad reviews. They made a decision in less than a day. The whole thing took about two weeks.
