First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Phorest Salon Software.
Onboarding Specialist
The interview process included a hiring manager and one other person. There were behavioral interviews and another formal interview that I can't recall the name of, but it was systematic with a set of questions. I think this formal interview style is more common in Ireland, where the company was founded.
- What feedback would your previous manager give you?
Onboarding Specialist
I applied and got an interview that same week. It was about 15-20 minutes long. They asked me what I knew about the company and to give background on myself. They also asked if I had experience working remotely and why I was interested in the role. I think showing interest was key because they're a small company. I haven't heard back yet, though.
- What makes you want to work at this company?
Onboarding Specialist
I started with a recruitment agency. The first step was an online meeting with the Onboarding Specialist Lead. Then, I had to complete an aptitude test. Finally, there was a last interview with the Onboarding Team Lead and another Onboarding Specialist.
- What rating out of 10 would your current manager give you and why?
- What is your reason for leaving your current job?
