First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Phoenix Elementary School District # 1.
Teaching Assistant
I applied for the job and then had a very pleasant and relaxed conversation. The questions were typical for interviews. Overall, it was a very nice chat.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward and the questions were pretty average. They gave me a set of questions and then a final question to check my estimation skills and critical thinking.
- What do you consider to be your biggest strengths?
Trainer
The interview process wasn't what I expected. The interviewers weren't very attentive and were mostly on their phones texting, which didn't seem very professional.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Teacher
The interview was really straightforward. First, they gave us a call to get to know us better as individuals. If we passed that initial stage, we moved on to the second round, which involved coming in to teach a lesson to a group of students at the grade level.
- What is your approach to teaching?
- What motivates your desire to become a teacher?
- How do you manage a classroom effectively?
