First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Phillips Medisize.
Regulatory Affairs Intern
I got an email from them and had to make an account on their site. Then, I had two weeks to do an online assessment. It had some simple questions about me that were on my application, and then 3-4 interview questions. The interview questions were pre-recorded, and I got two chances to answer each one before moving on.
- Can you describe your experience in regulatory affairs and how you acquired it?
Data Analyst
It was a good interview experience overall and I learned a lot. I also gained confidence that I can do well in other interviews. This was my first interview, and I was a bit nervous, which might be why I didn't get the job.
- Can you discuss your past projects?
- What is your experience with MS Office tools?
Regional Operations Manager
I had a phone chat with the recruiter and it went pretty well. They said they'd pass my info to the hiring manager and get back to me. I ended up having to follow up a couple weeks later since I didn't hear anything. Then they told me the job wasn't remote anymore (even though the description and our first chat said it was, which is probably why it's called 'regional'). I said I'd think about relocating but my salary expectations would go up. That's when the recruiter said I wasn't qualified enough and rejected me. If I wasn't qualified from the start, why not just say that? Seems like they were trying to bait and switch me with a lowball salary.
- Can you describe your experience with Lean?
Quality Inspector
Great process, lots of interviews but they have a very different interview scheme. There are 3 people involved, and only one interviews you on technical points. The others focus on your values as a person. This made me very satisfied because they care about finding a suitable candidate.
