First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Phillips Edison & Company.
IT Applications Intern
The interview process mainly involved behavior-based questions focusing on my resume, leadership, and communication skills. There were also some theoretical questions about SQL. It's crucial to have a strong understanding of the information present on your resume.
- Can you explain the different types of JOIN commands in SQL?
IT Intern
I went through two interview stages: first, an HR screening, then a technical interview. The technical part tested my SQL and Python skills, and we also talked about my resume and some behavioral stuff. They didn't ask any LeetCode problems, which was a relief. The interviewers were really nice and made me feel comfortable.
- Can you discuss the projects listed on your resume?
Investment Management Intern
The process was okay overall, though after communication with my recruiter I did not hear back for well over a month before learning that I had moved on to the next round. The recruiters and interviewers were all very pleasant, the communication was just not great.
- Could you discuss a specific item on your resume and explain its impact on your professional aspirations?
Marketing Intern
The interview process was very straightforward and felt like a normal conversation. They mostly wanted to get to know me as a person. Overall, it was very smooth and not overly complicated. The recruiter was very nice and seemed interested in getting to know me better.
- Tell me about your strengths.
