They did a good job asking a lot of questions and providing answers to basic ones. There were some issues, like odd locations, but it could have been worse.
- What motivates you to want to work here?
Sales Ambassador
The interview process was really unorganized. It was a group interview that lasted about 2 hours because we were moved around a lot. We had to fill out a paper application that they took a long time to grade in front of us. We met with three different levels of management. It was a long interview for a job that only pays $10 an hour. At the end, instead of being direct, they picked candidates right in front of everyone and said they needed more information from them because they didn't get a sense of who they were, while sending the rest home because they did get a sense of who they are. Honestly, if the interview had gone better, I might have been a little upset about not getting the position, but I feel like I dodged a bullet, especially considering the amount of work involved for the pay offered.
- What is your definition of customer service?
Web Designer Developer Interactive Media Specialist
Applied for one job, but my resume was sent to a different department with an opening they thought was a better fit. They emailed then we talked on the phone. Then they invited me to their office for an interview with the person who contacted me and his supervisor. They were both really nice and passionate. The guy I talked to shared many of my interests, and we really clicked. His supervisor was kind and very interested in my work and how I could help them launch a new program. They invited me back for a second interview, and even covered my travel and lodging when they decided to hire me and had me complete employment forms.
