First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Philippine Social Security System.
Intern
The interview process was systematic and well-structured. It started with an initial screening and then a short interview that focused on my academic background, skills, and motivation for applying to the internship.
- Can you tell me why you applied to our internship program?
Junior Analyst
You'll start with a recruiter call, then have a technical screen. They'll ask you to tell them about yourself. Other questions are situational. They'll ask about your job, your previous experience, and your employer. They'll also ask about the job itself, your ideas, and your knowledge regarding it.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you tell me about your past work experience or a situation with your previous employer?
- What do you know about this job and what are your thoughts on it?
Contractual
I was set up for an interview for a contractual role within OPSD, but it turned out my qualifications weren't a good fit. My background is in supervisory roles, and I suppose government offices have their own unique way of evaluating job offers.
- Tell me about why you left your last job.
Software Engineer
It was a good experience overall. They started with a basic aptitude test from Indiabix, then there was a group discussion, and finally, a personal interview. They mostly asked basic questions related to Java and programming languages. They also assess your communication skills during the process.
