& Process

I had 6 interviews over two months with 6 different people. This included a panel interview, an interview with the hiring manager, and a final interview with the head of the department. I never heard back after the final interview, even though the department head said I'd hear by the end of the week. I sent two follow-up emails and got no response. I eventually sent an email withdrawing my application because the lack of communication during the interview process made me question what it would be like to work there. It felt disrespectful and like a waste of my time and energy, especially since I turned down other opportunities for this position. Lesson learned.

Applied March 17th. Got an email for an interview request April 2nd. Interview was rescheduled by them. Five people were meant to be on the zoom call, only four showed up. It took 15 minutes before everyone was ready to interview me. Questions were difficult and lengthy. All questions were at least three parts. They kept saying this was the last question, it was not. There were probably 12 questions in total. Two weeks later, was rejected. Waste of time.

The interview was conducted in a fair and comfortable manner. I was interviewed by a fourth-year medical student and a doctor. All the questions led to a personal conversation. I was pleased with how it went!

I had a screening call with HR, then a 1st interview, and after that a 2nd interview. The first and second interviews were pretty long and had questions that had multiple parts. They asked about what success looks like in the role and mentioned needing to be 'hungry' for it.
