First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Phihong.
Human Resources Manager
It took a very long time, several months, and more interviews than they initially said. In the end, after 4 interviews, they ghosted me. They seemed disorganized and unsure of what they wanted for this role.
- Was I capable of performing the job duties?
Finance Manager
Had a screening call with the headhunter, then same-day on-site interviews with the Finance VP and the accounting manager, and then a final on-site with the CFO.
- Can you tell me about your resume and past accomplishments?
- Have you had any significant achievements previously?
- Are you able to commit to working late hours on a regular basis?
Engineer
It was a good and quick process, lasting only a couple of days until an offer was extended. The questions were clear and straight to the point, making it a good learning experience. The process was flexible and adapted to my background. They introduced the team and were transparent. They were responsive, and it seems like a good place for new grads with a quick onboarding process via email.
- Can you draw the circuit for a buck converter and explain how it works?
Employee
I interviewed with my team and then the Hiring Manager. The Hiring Manager didn't show up, so we had to reschedule after I waited 20 minutes. I felt disrespected.
- Can you describe your experience?
- What can you tell me about your personal life?
