Technical Other

It's a 3 step process: first a phone interview, then an in person interview, and finally a technical interview with the artistic director. They'll place you based on how you do with your model. If you seem inexperienced, you'll be put at a lower level and paid a very low, barely survivable wage until you test into a higher level, which does take time.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied online, likely via email, about 5 years ago. I started with an informational interview at the owner's home. Following that, I had two shadowing experiences, during which I shadowed three times. The final interview took place at a local coffee shop, where the founder, Elizabeth, bought me coffee and a snack.

Group Behavioral Other

It was a messy start, basically a big group meeting for anyone interested in any roles. Then I was asked back for a 4-hour job shadow with the HR person. Most of the time was spent on small details. I asked about basic HR best practices, but it seemed like they weren't focused on that. After shadowing, I was asked to write down suggestions for improvement. I started with the obvious things, like making sure the stairways were clear, especially being on the third floor of an old building. I also suggested a proper desk instead of just a board on blocks could make a difference in working conditions.

Behavioral Group Other

The whole interview process took about a month. I wasn't told who the owners were until after the third stage. First, they have you come in for a visit that lasts an hour. Then, you come in for a shadow session, which is for a whole shift. During this time, you can't sit down, and you have to be conversational with people, or they'll think you're rude and not a good fit because you're shy. The owner was really rude and told me I couldn't get the job because I was rude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.
