Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was nice and understandable for the position I applied for. The questions matched the job description. The primary stages of an interview are Introductions. Before the real interviewing begins, the interviewer usually greets you with a light conversation. Next, your interviewer may try to make a personal connection with you to do a professional pitch. One of the first things that the interviewer might ask you to do is to tell...

It started with a phone call from the recruiter, then I went in for a face-to-face interview with the VP and the hiring manager for the department. They checked my references. Once everything checked out, they made a verbal offer, and then I got the written offer. We did some salary negotiations before I finally accepted the offer. After that, I had to complete a background check and a drug test. Once I cleared those, they gave me an official start date. The whole process took a bit longer than usual because it began right around the Christmas holiday.

Had a call with a recruiter for a contract-to-hire Sr. Manager job at PHH. Given my prior experience with the company and 25 years in the field, I thought it was a sure thing. But after interviewing, the team said they wanted someone with higher call volume experience, which is funny because I managed centers with over 5000 calls. The interview process itself was long, spending 4 hours there, interviewing one by one with VPs who seemed clueless about the role. During the waits between interviews, I overheard employees complaining about the company. Online reviews also highlighted poor customer service. It's a shame they passed on someone who could have fixed their issues.

  • Can you tell me about the number of people you have managed simultaneously?
