First, I had a phone interview with HR. Then, a week later, I had an in-person interview with the Director. After another week, there was a third in-person interview with several members of the Implementation team who held various roles. This last interview was to further delve into my experience and ask scenario-based questions. It seemed like a good place to work, offering challenging work and opportunities for continued growth. However, it took a couple of weeks after my final interview to get feedback, and I had to email them to ask for an update. I felt that after multiple interviews, I could have received more constructive feedback on why I wasn't selected.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by Phenom People and had a good initial phone call. They mentioned the role might be too junior but wanted me to come in to discuss my background and other opportunities. I spent about 4 hours onsite meeting with 3 people and was excited about the product and team. Then they sent a JD for another role, which I was interested in. I had another 1.5 hour interview with what I think was the hiring manager, and it seemed promising. After that, they went silent. I followed up via calls and emails with no response. Eventually, about a month or 6 weeks later, I got an email saying I wasn't a fit but they were still interested and wanted to talk again in a few weeks. I tried to reconnect, but got no further response. The whole experience felt like a waste of time, especially since it turned out there wasn't actually a role available when they had me interview so much. I think it would be better to have an initial chat to learn about my background and then stay in touch or revisit when roles open up, rather than moving me through an interview process for a non-existent job.

I applied online and after a couple of weeks, HR reached out via email. Following an initial chat with HR, I was asked to submit a short video explaining which company core value resonated with me, based on their website. Phenom People emphasizes culture and candidate alignment with core values. Next, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Then, I came in for an on-site interview to meet with the Sr. Implementation Manager, AVP of Customer Experience, and the COO. The whole process was quite seamless and professional. I really enjoyed interviewing with Phenom People, especially the video clip task – it was a unique experience. This role might be a good fit for someone who is adaptable and prepared to work long hours with limited flexibility.
