Inside Sales Representative
The interview process was great! I really liked having a few phone conversations before the official in-person interview. This gave me a better sense of the position and helped me connect with people beforehand, which made me feel less nervous for the in-person interview. During the in-person interview, everyone was very nice and welcoming, making me feel comfortable. I felt I could show my true personality, unlike other interviews that focus more on your resume and experience than how you'd fit with the team.
- Why did you decide to go into sales, and what led you to this field?
Sales Director
Had an initial phone screening with the hiring manager recruiter. She talked really fast and seemed more focused on pitching the company than understanding my experience. I found out they've divided the sales role into two: one for maintaining existing accounts and another for acquiring new ones, and this position is solely focused on hunting for new business. The salary range is between $70k-$80k, plus commission. However, the commission is capped at $10k for every new account, which I pointed out is a bit of a turn-off for salespeople. She didn't seem to appreciate my feedback. It seems like the company is trying to scale its infrastructure to keep up with its growth, based on what I've seen in reviews.
- Can you walk me through your career history?
- What was your compensation in previous roles?
Field Service Representative
This was one of the worst and most unprofessional interview processes I've experienced. The recruiter set expectations that weren't met. I was told I'd hear back within two days after the phone interview, but I didn't. I sent two emails with no response. When I reached out via chat, I was told I'd hear from the recruiter by the end of the day, but I ended up waiting for a denial email instead. I know I'll find a job with a more ethical company, but this process was horrible and a total waste of time and effort.
- What makes you a suitable candidate for pharma logistics?
Job Board
The interview process was really laid back and fun. They welcomed me warmly and were very kind, making me feel like part of the team during the interview. I felt comfortable discussing the topics that came up. I really appreciated the consistent updates after the interview about their progress and when to expect a decision. I was selected for the role! Even though I've only been here a few months, the support and guidance at Pharma Logistics have been amazing!
