After applying, I was quickly contacted by HR for a general chat about me. Then, a phone interview with the hiring manager was scheduled. Unlike many companies that just skim my resume and don't ask much about job skills, this one was different. It was challenging to review my understanding of clinical risk and its impact on audit selection and conduct. The interviewer seemed really interested in my opinions and my knowledge base. Even if I don't get the job, I feel like I learned a lot and will be better prepared for future opportunities.

Had 2 phone interviews first, then a face-to-face. The interviews were pretty basic, like they were for an entry-level role, even though my title is Senior CRA. It was odd because the people interviewing me often had less experience than I do. The HR interview was a bit weird too; they focused on job-specifics that HR isn't really qualified to assess, instead of focusing on the company, benefits, or overall fit. I didn't get any info about the company or benefits during the whole process.

Day 1 I submitted my resume. Day 8 HR called me for a 30 min general phone chat, asked about my background. Day 10, I had a 1 hour 40 min phone interview with STAR questions. Day 14, the recruiter called, said they liked me and asked if I had questions, I said no. Then they asked if I wanted to come in for an in-person interview, which I said yes to. Day 30, I got a skills test I didn't love but finished and sent back early. Day 34, I had a 4 hour in person interview with 4 managers, more STAR questions. Day 36, I got the job offer. Day 39, I accepted.

The interview was with a hiring manager, and a second person joined via phone. The atmosphere was very comfortable and familiar. First, the hiring manager talked about Pharm-Olam. Then, I was asked to introduce myself in more detail. They asked why I chose this company, what experience I have in which areas, and how I imagine my daily work. Overall, it was a very comfortable conversation.
