First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Phantom Fireworks.
Graphic Designer
So, first I had a phone screening where we just talked about my skills and what I've done. Then, I went in person to meet with the art manager. We talked about situations that might come up and went more in-depth about my background and if I'd fit with the team. After that, I got an assessment test to do. They said they'd get back to me by a certain date, but that didn't happen. I waited weeks with no word, so I reached out to see what was up, and then waited even longer before they finally told me I didn't get it. It felt really unprofessional and like a huge waste of my time.
- Could you discuss your past experiences as detailed on your resume?
Assistant Store Manager
I had a phone call with someone from corporate, and then they called me back a week later with a job offer of $526 per week. The only other step was a background check. During that, they asked about a disorderly conduct charge on my record. I explained it was just a noise complaint from neighbors who disliked my dog. After that, they said I was hired.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your experience?
- Could you explain the disorderly conduct charge that appears on your record?
Software Engineer
The interview had 2 technical interviews and a 1-hour interview. The technical interview was completely based on my project and resume. The hr was very calm and asked some easy scenario-based questions.
- How do you handle stress and pressure?
- Can you describe a time you faced a significant challenge at work?
- Can you provide an example of when you showed initiative?
Office Manager
I had a phone interview, then an in person interview. After that, I completed an application and a background check. They went into a lot of detail about the role and the company.
- How is your experience relevant to the position?
