The process was long and difficult. They reached out to me a month after I applied. I had already reviewed the job requirements and decided I wasn't qualified, but they still wanted me to speak with the hiring manager. After that chat, I got an invite for an in-person interview with a panel of three people. It took them a while to get back to me, so I was calling the recruiter weekly for an update. About a month later, the recruiter informed me the position was no longer available. Then, another month passed, and they called again about the role re-opening and asked if I was still interested in a final interview. By that time, I had already accepted another job offer.

I applied online and heard back about 2-3 weeks later from a recruiter for a phone interview. The recruiter was late and spent the time trying to talk me out of the job, saying it was intense and leadership blames others. I wasn't so interested after that but didn't want to close the door. They called for a second interview, but I had prior travel plans so I couldn't make it, and I thought that was that. The hiring managers then called me personally, interviewed me, and offered me the job on the spot. They seemed better than the recruiter said, so I accepted. Then, about two weeks before I was supposed to move, I got a call saying they didn't have the budget for the hires they just made. It was super unprofessional all around, and I'm glad I didn't end up there.

We had a panel interview on client site, held in a conference room with plastic chairs. The panel included the Project Manager, a Test Engineer, and the current Principal Test Engineer. It was an informal setting. Everyone in the room had recently joined within the last two months, as it was a new contract.

I was contacted about a potential opportunity. After the contract was signed and the position was available (about a week later), I was called in for an interview the next day. The office was very nice, located right near the Metro. I was very impressed with the three people who interviewed me. They shared a lot about the company's strategic direction and answered the questions I had.
