First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Petzl.
HR Partner
From my perspective as an employee and former candidate, here's the process I'm familiar with: a phone call, followed by interviews with the Manager and HR on-site, which can span one or two days for highly responsible positions (no tests or simulations involved). Then, a discussion about the salary offer over the phone, leading to the offer signature.
- What's driving your job search and what's your availability?
- What makes you interested in this role?
- Tell me about your experience relevant to this position.
Finance
I met with HR, the potential manager, and the VP of the department all in the first interview. It seemed like there wasn't a clear determination about who would be leading and asking most of the questions. This resulted in vague questions that didn't give me a clear direction on what they were looking for.
- Can you tell me what you know about Petzl?
Acheteur
I had a first interview with the manager and a second with the HR manager. The questions were relevant and the people were nice, but the salary was low compared to the market. The atmosphere seems quite pleasant.
- Could you tell me about your background?
Data Center Technician
it was a very relaxed and nice experience where I learned a lot about the company and management. the interview was inviting and understanding. I would recommend doing some prep for transferable skills.
- Can you tell me about a time you had a disagreement with a coworker and what steps you took to resolve it?
