I got contacted by Peterson Technology Partners (PTP) on LinkedIn about an SDET role, even though I hadn't applied. After checking out the job, I decided to go for it. The initial talks were good. I then had a technical interview, which I think went well. The recruiter gave me really positive feedback afterwards, saying the interviewer was 'quite impressed,' so I figured I was a strong candidate. But then, after that good news, communication just stopped. I followed up a few times over the next few weeks, but never heard back. No confirmation if the process was over or if they picked someone else. I get that hiring can be slow or change, but when a company reaches out to you directly, you expect at least some basic communication and to know where things stand.

I interviewed for a job at their clients' site. During the interview, they boasted about how they were different from other recruiting agencies, like how they responded quickly to applicant follow-ups. After the interview, despite me following up multiple times over a month, I never heard back. The person I talked to, who promised quick responses, didn't even have the courtesy to send a short reply about my application status, which any applicant would want to know. I hope management sees this and fixes it. A responsible organization wouldn't let this happen. Hope they're listening.
