First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Peter Millar.
Art Director
I had an in-person meeting with the Art Director. She talked about what the job entails and the challenges we'd need to tackle this coming quarter. Then, she asked me about my background in the necessary skills.
- Do you have experience with soft goods, models, or back-end commerce?
Azure Cloud Administrator
It was a pretty straightforward process, they really dug deep into Terraform, CI/CD, and Subscriptions. They also asked about things like salary and location preferences, making it a solid technical interview.
- Have you done any scripting before?
Business Analyst
First we had a call with HR where we talked about my past experiences. Then I spoke with the hiring manager and a senior analyst. They gave me a case study and we discussed my technical skills and the job description. The final round was a review of the case study questions.
- Can you describe your experience with analyzing P&Ls and financial models?
HR Coordinator
The whole thing took over two months. I had two phone interviews to start, then two in-person interviews that were each 2.5 hours long. After all that, they never even told me if I got the job. I reached out a bunch of times, and two weeks later they said they'd let me know the next week... still waiting. It was pretty unprofessional, especially after I spent so much time interviewing multiple times.
- What kinds of employee recognition programs would you suggest implementing?
