Clinical Scientist
So, there were 2 rounds interviews for this role: first a phone interview, and then a face to face interview. For the second interview, I was asked to make a presentation about a project I'd done before.
- Tell me about how you handle difficult people you work with.
Product Manager
I applied for a role that specified a PhD, but they never asked about my education, scientific background, or PhD achievements. After getting rejected, I asked for feedback and was told I should have answered based on my own experiences. While I get that, it would have been better if they’d said that upfront. Without that, it feels unfair to reject someone just for that. Also, when I asked about the KPIs for the PM role, the interviewer seemed unprepared and gave a weak answer like 'bring more revenue to the company,' which felt unprofessional and uninformative.
- What would your ideal product look like?
Scientist
Applied, got an invite for a screening interview pretty quick, like a week after. The interview itself was okay, though one of the interviewers didn't make it. They asked about my past work, what drives me, and my future goals. I was warned there might be a long wait for a response because of their internal stuff. I didn't hear anything back for 8 weeks, so I followed up with an email and got what seemed like an automated rejection. The company seems decent to work with, but their hiring process was kind of a letdown.
- Can you share details about your past experience?
- What are your motivations for this role?
- What are your aspirations for your career?
Market Access Health Economics Intern
The interview process was really smooth and the hiring team was very helpful and supportive. It involved cv screening, a virtual interview and a panel interview. The first interview was virtual and basic personal and behavioural questions were asked. The second interview involved giving a presentation followed by a panel interview with a mix of presentation questions and technical and behavioural questions.
- What drove your interest in this position?
- Describe your approach to handling multiple responsibilities.
- What are your career aspirations for the next decade?
