The team was really warm and welcoming during the interview. I spent about two hours of my day in person, but unfortunately, they couldn't even be bothered to send a simple generic email to let me know I wasn't selected. That was disappointing, and the lack of communication doesn't really align with the dynamic they presented to me during the interview. Other than that, the company seems to be heading in a good direction!

Behavioral Technical

Got referred by a connection from an internship. First up was a recruiter call, which felt more like a sales pitch. Then, I spoke with the Bioinformatics Director. They asked me some technical questions and discussed where I might fit in the team. The last step was an in-person interview at their HQ in Baltimore with the same Director and three other people, back-to-back. Some regular questions, but nothing too challenging.

Had a phone chat and then an in-person interview. Was complimented and invited to a company party. They said I would be invited back for a final review, but then after about 2 weeks of hearing nothing, they said they had no positions available. Odd. The team was very nice though.

I went through two phone screens, then had a full day of onsite interviews. I talked to 6 people in my department, and we did a mix of technical and behavioral interviews. It felt like a good way for both sides to learn about each other.
