Behavioral Case Presentation

There were four interviews. First, I got a general call to check if I knew what kind of role I applied for. In the second interview, I got to talk about what I want from my future employer and my salary expectations. The third interview was a personal video call, discussing our mutual fit, why I want to be a manager, and my experience. The fourth interview was the most intense and challenging. I was shown a case study via video and had 20 minutes to analyze all the information and create a plan for two fictional employees I would lead situationally. I also had to react spontaneously to employee arguments or small disagreements. Afterward, they asked how I felt and informed me that feedback on whether I passed or got rejected would come in a few days.

I felt super comfortable! She did an amazing job interviewing me. I was nervous going in, but the questions weren’t too difficult or overly technical. She made me feel at ease by explaining each step clearly and giving me time to think about my answers. Overall, the process felt very fair and straightforward.

Persona Service is basically a recruitment agency that applies to different companies on my behalf (I didn't know that at first). Anyway, I applied for a controlling job through a job portal, but it was via Persona, so I had an interview with Persona first, and only then with the specific company. I'm only reporting on the "intermediate interview" with Persona and their recruitment process. During the interview, I was asked about my entire private life (with very boundary-crossing questions, see below). In the weeks after the interview, I was sent a few job offers by email, but none of them were suitable for me.

Even though we had an appointment, I had to wait a long time. The interviewer was completely unprepared and didn't know anything about IT or the job. The whole experience wasn't friendly at all, especially when we talked about travel times and compensation for interviews. An IT professional isn't a warehouse worker or a call center agent, and they should know that when advertising a job in this field. They did mention that I might be assigned to a different role or paid according to a different wage scale than what was advertised.
