First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Persefoni.
Climate Solutions Consultant
The recruiter was upfront about what to expect and how to prepare for each part of the interview. They kept me in the loop and responded to emails within a day or two. Even though I didn't get the job, I thought it was a good experience because their interview process was so well-organized.
- What's your strategy for handling incorrect data provided by a client?
Customer Success Manager
So I had this six month interview process with Persefoni, and honestly it was a bummer. Even though I had six interviews, and after each one they acted like they were gonna offer me the job, they never did. Like, after every good chat, I'd just be waiting for them to tell me what's next, and then they'd just hit me up with *another* person to talk to. Super frustrating and kinda rude, you know, after I put in all that work getting ready for these chats. In the end, even with all the good vibes and the long interview grind, no offer. It really stunk and showed how unclear and unprofessional their hiring thing is. Plus, seriously, six interviews? That's a lot to decide if you wanna hire someone.
- Could you walk me through a scenario and demonstrate how you would send an email using Gmail?
Software Development Engineer in Test
I was contacted by a recruiter who set up a call. After that, I had a technical interview with the backend data team, and then a final interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager indicated that an offer would be extended the following week. However, about four days later, the recruiter sent an email, not even a call, saying the position was delayed and would be open in a couple of weeks. I wasn't actively looking, but the company seemed very interesting and a good fit for my skills. Two weeks later, I reached out to the recruiter for an update, and he mentioned mid-summer. It's now October, and I haven't heard back. It seems like their recruiting or hiring process is flawed or the company is disorganized, which was disappointing given the time I invested. They missed out on talent with hard-to-find skills.
- Can you share your experience with Rabbit or similar messaging services?
- Describe your preferred approach to testing data.
- Have you previously developed test frameworks using Golang?
Copywriter
It was a pretty long interview process, with several team leads and writing tasks. They kept me waiting a bunch, setting up calls and then changing them. The company has a cool mission, but it felt like nobody was on the same page. They made it seem like the job was mine, and then suddenly it wasn't.
- What research have you done on our company?
- Can you detail your experience as a writer?
- Could you describe your background in marketing?
