First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Peri Formwork Systems.
Formwork and Shoring Designer/Drafter
The interview process was very friendly. The people conducting the interview were nice and caring. It followed a standard interview format with no template questions. If you're a nice person who's willing to work and learn, I'm sure you'll get the job.
- Were there any difficult questions asked?
- Can you describe yourself as a nice person?
- Are you willing to put in the work?
Engineering Manager
The interview process is pretty laid back and they try to make you feel comfortable. They ask questions that directly relate to your work experience and times you faced difficult situations. It's not all just about work though, they also ask some background questions to get to know you, standard stuff like telling them about yourself.
- How do you plan on gaining the trust of long-term staff engineers who have always done things their way, and how would you go about changing their established habits?
Design Engineer
Applied via indeed. Took 3 weeks. Had a phone interview first, then an in-person interview. They asked about my research experience, extracurricular activities, and other things on my resume.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
- What would you say is your greatest strength?
- What is your greatest weakness?
Civil Engineer
I met with a Senior Engineer for a one-on-one. They told me about the job and what it involves. They asked me some usual behavioral questions and about my experiences with software like AutoCad. Near the end, I had a short quiz with some basic math and truss analysis problems.
- Could you share something about yourself that isn't on your resume?
