First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Performance Hospitality.
Revenue Manager
I applied and heard back from the recruiter and hiring manager within a few days. After that, I spoke with two executives and then the CEO. The interviews were all positive and gave me a good sense of the job. I was then given an assessment, but the system didn't work for two weeks, so I had to do it on my phone. A week after I finished it, I checked in for an update and was told they were still interviewing. It's now been a month and a half, and I haven't heard back.
- Can you share an instance where you had to make a last-minute change to a revenue strategy?
OTA Strategist
I applied online and they asked for my salary requirements. I drove to Fort Lauderdale for the interview, but they said the job paid $35k less than I wanted. Then I interviewed with the Corporate Director of Revenue Management, and she spent the whole time bad-mouthing her coworkers. It really seemed like a super unprofessional place. I knew within 5 minutes it wasn't for me.
- How do you handle disagreements with other managers?
Brand Experience Manager
I was referred by a former colleague and had a great time interviewing. They asked thoughtful questions and it felt more like a conversation than a typical interview. I left understanding what they were looking for and how I'd fit in. Ultimately, I didn't have enough experience for what they needed, which made sense.
- How would you make sure your marketing plan aligns with our brand values?
Sales Executive
The hiring process moved pretty quickly given the number of interviews I had. They took place at the Ft Lauderdale offices in nice conference rooms, pretty much what you'd expect for an executive role interview.
- Provide a brief answer on how to increase brand acquisitions.
