First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Performance Health.
Financial Analyst
I had an interview with the recruiter and then one with the hiring manager. The first was an intro call, the second was a deep dive into my experience. It's been a week since the second interview and I haven't heard back. I thought it was a hard interview because of specific situations from my past.
- Tell me about a situation where you had to work with a difficult colleague.
Product Manager
It was a pretty standard interview process overall. First, there was a phone chat with HR, and then I had another phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, I was invited in to meet with senior and peer members of the team. I did some digging beforehand and had some reservations because the company had recently restructured, and I noticed some potential red flags from my research.
- Could you tell me about your background?
- What negotiation experience do you have?
- How would you manage vendor relationships?
Human Resources
A recruiter reached out to me about a job. I had previously been denied for another role, and the recruiter apologized for that automatic denial and asked if I'd be open to interviewing for this position and discussing another role as well. The recruiter stood me up for the initial interview, then emailed 20 minutes later to apologize and reschedule. They set up another time, but then had to leave 15 minutes into the interview because they were completely rushed. They then expressed interest in setting up a time for me to meet with the manager and asked for my availability, which was to be confirmed after our call. I emailed them my best times as requested, but never got a response. I sent a follow-up email and still never heard back. The recruiter asked me questions as if they hadn't even looked at my resume or read my CV. The whole HR process and recruitment efforts were absolutely terrible. At the very least, they should communicate with candidates. To this day, the position still says 'interviewing'.
- Could you describe your current role and explain how you utilize the marketing mix within it?
Inside Sales Representative
The interviewers came off as unprofessional and awkward. They read basic questions from paper, showing they weren't prepared or experienced. There were 2 interviews in total. The final interviewer was constantly checking her phone for texts, which made me lose interest. Overall, it was an unprofessional and boring group of people.
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What about your weaknesses?
- Why are you interested in sales?
