First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pereira & O'Dell.
Social Media Specialist
I had an initial screening which went well. They told me there would be 3 interviews after that. They were scheduled back to back to back and it was quite intensive. It was moderately awkward as it seemed one of the interviewers was extremely eager to get out of the meeting, looking at the clock the entire time, didn't have any real qustions about my background, and ended the meeting almost 10 minutes early. I was then contacted after those 3, and they added a surprise 4th interview after which I was told 'you will for sure be hearing from us' when I asked for further clarification about remaining requirements and timelines to hear back. A week went by and nothing, I checked in at the 7 day mark and was told they needed to wait for a colleague to return to the office to have further discussion and I would be contacted the week after. I was not contacted the week after. 11 days after that, I sent another email asking about updates. I received a response that same day saying they went with another candidate.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment at Pereira O'Dell?
Intern
I had a quick 20-30 minute in-person interview at my school, then got an email the next week inviting me to the company headquarters. They offered me a part-time summer position, but didn't confirm the start date until a call the following week, when they expected me to start immediately without having told me.
- No difficult or unexpected questions were asked.
Brand Manager
The team was very welcoming and answered my questions transparently. The interview process consisted of four interviews with different team members who are connected to the specific brand management team in one way or another.

It was pretty chill, just be real about what you're into. They were super nice. It wasn't tough overall, just make sure you have a solid portfolio and know why you wanna work here. Look into what the company does.
