Administrative Assistant
The development stage involves asking questions to assess your experience, skills, and motivations, and also addressing any doubts you may have. Then, in the conclusion stage, we'll go over the next steps in the selection process.
- Tell me about your personal values regarding work.
Call Center Representative
The hiring manager connected with me on Indeed and we exchanged a few emails. After that, we had two phone calls. The interviewer wasn't upfront about things and sounded condescending. They acted like they were offering me a job, then changed their mind. I'm usually good at interviews and was polite. I think they don't like people who are confident and happy, or if you ask them questions back. Remember, you're interviewing them too. They probably want someone who will just take abuse from customers.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What about your weaknesses?
- Have you done call center work before?
Recruiter
My experience interviewing with Career Education Corporation was terrible, zero stars. The people there are disorganized, waste candidates' time, and lack common courtesy. I had an initial phone interview with a new hire, followed by a face-to-face interview with him and another woman. My second interview was onsite, about 25 miles away, with the same gentleman and a woman. The gentleman seemed unprepared and disorganized, cramming interviews into one-hour slots. Both interviewers cut me off mid-sentence, saying 'time was up,' and rushed me out. The gentleman said I'd hear back by the following Monday. When I didn't, I emailed for an update and was completely ignored. I later found out they hired someone else, and it's been two weeks with no response, not even a rejection email. This company shows no consideration for candidates' time and fails to send standard rejection emails, which is basic courtesy. I strongly advise against wasting your time with these unprofessional, rude, and unorganized people.
- Can you describe what a typical day looked like in your previous role?
Manager
The interview process involved behavioral questions and technical assessments. The candidate demonstrated good concepts on deriving test scenarios and test cases from use cases. They possess a good understanding of test coverage and test reporting, along with concepts of different kinds of testing. There's high-level awareness of different sections of a test plan. The candidate has good domain knowledge in Financial - Trading and shows interest and effort in gaining knowledge on domains worked. Experience with QTP and clear concepts on its application were noted. However, limited opportunity to work on SQL resulted in a lack of skill in that area.
- We want to understand what kind of person you are.
- No true talent is needed.
